The city of Childress is a city with population of approximately 6778. The city was organized on April 11, 1887. Childress is a city that continues to thrive, primarily a cotton farming and cattle ranching community.
Our City park, known as Fair Park, has been hailed by many as one

The newest addition to the City of Childress is Stony Ridge Golf
course open to the public with 9 holes now open. Soon the other

Plans have begun for the addition of Childress ATV Moto Park to be located on Highway 287 just outside of Childress. Watch for updates as they become available for the Childress ATV Moto Park. |
